The Elephant Rocks are situated half an hour inland from Oamaru, near Duntroon, on private farmland. They are large rocks made of Limestone. The Elephant Rocks are a collection of large weathered limestone rocks. These rock formations vary in size from 1 - 10 metres and are naturally scattered around farmland. Update description
